North Wexford Hospice Home Care is a voluntary charitable group which seeks to raise funds for home-based palliative care. It is part of the County Wexford Hospice Home Care Team Ltd, which was set up in 1990. It relies on the generous support of the public and all monies raised are used for the sole purpose of the expenses of the nurses and their home-care visits. The demand on the service has increased over the past 24 years and in 2012 the 5 nurses performed over 5000 home visits. Please support this worthy cause, and your local community.
Take part in local Video
Are you available next Thursday 20th March to come to Askamore’s Le Chéile Park between 2 – 3pm?
Askamore is one of 15 Community Development groups around County Wexford which have been working on a Wexford Walking Trails brochure for some time and there’s a professional video of the trail and surrounding area being taken next Thursday for Discover Ireland, Visit Wexford and our own community websites.
Askamore Community Council is trying to get the regular users of the park and the walk to be part of the video. If you and your family or friends are available, you’d be more than welcome to come along and participate.
If you’d like to be in Le Chéile Park, the cameras will be there from 2.30 to 3.
If you’d like to be part of the film of the looped walk, please contact Mary Donohoe on 086 16 33341. This would be between 2 and 2.30.

Don’t forget that the lights in the park are on from 7am in the morning, and until 10pm at night, to allow people to walk or exercise safely in the darker winter hours.
