Great help all round to plant loads of daffs in the grounds of the school.
They should be lovely come next spring. Thanks to everyone – children, teachers and parents – who helped out on the day.

Wexford County Council have granted us an extension to the usual spring clean-up time.
In order to have the area looking at its best for both the Tidy Towns entry 2013, which will be judged sometime in the near future, and for the July 26th opening of Le Chéile Park, people are asked to make a special effort to ensure all road ditches and verges are free of litter and debris. Filled litter bags are to be left in the back of the priest’s house for collection on Monday, July 22nd.
You can help to make your local community look more beautiful. Why not organise a group of people on your road to go out and pick up anything that shouldn’t be there?
Clean-up equipment can be got from Jim Gilbert, Askamore (086 840 6786) or Jim Martin Donishall (086 247 1912)

If anyone would like to get a bag, gloves and picker and to look after their own area in the next few weeks, Wexford Co. Council will take away the bagged litter.
