The set dancing group which meets every Wednesday night under Paddy Wade as tutor is learning the Connemara Set and now the Cashel Set. A lot done – a lot more to do! Great fun and great exercise, Paddy just says keep smiling, but he still puts us through our paces! We’re back on Wed January 11th, and are always open to new members. We go over the older steps each night, and add on some new ones, so every level of dancer is catered for.
Nancy Kehoe once again brought her great flower arranging gift to the Activity Centre in Askamore last night, and shared some timely displays with her audience. As usual, she made everything look so easy! At the end of the demonstration, her 6 beautiful displays were raffled, and people were lucky enough to be able to bring home her work. Many thanks to Nancy for her expertise.
