Thanks to Mick Dee for organising, and to everyone for taking part – old and young alike.
Great night was had by all – and lots of medals given out.

Apologies for short notice but if anyone is available at 11 am tomorrow morning and feels like a bit of gardening, you’d be more than welcome to join us in Le Chéile Park to plant some snowdrops in the green – just before they die back fully.
If you can make it, bring a trowel and a kneeler with you.
With thanks to Seán Radley from Millstreet, who sent us on these pictures of the awards night.
Le Chéíle Park, Askamore took the national award for Best Public Park at the LAMA awards last night at a ceremony presided over by Miriam O’Callaghan.
Askamore was nominated along with 4 other parks from counties Antrim, Roscommon, Cavan and Mayo.

Many thanks to everyone who turned out to make this another huge success as Le Chéile Park’s annual fundraiser. Thanks also to our many helpers both beforehand and on the day.
