Thanks to Paddy Byrne, Brideswell for screwing the beds together for us.

Special thanks to Fr. Joe Power for permission to use the garden.

Also special thanks and best wishes for a speedy recovery to Betty (Lancaster) Kehoe who set us on this path.

Notes, tips and hints on The Spring Garden

Betty Kehoe giving her talk on Spring in the Garden 26-2-13Betty Kehoe gave a very informative talk tonight on the spring garden, planting, pruning, weeding, sowing, mowing the lawn etc etc. She had many useful tips and ideas, as well as suggestions for particular trees and plants and on potting up pretty pots.

Below are her notes, which will certainly give you ideas and help.

Many thanks to Betty for a wonderful night’s talk, and for the 3 plants which she generously donated to be raffled on the night. Winners were Mary Walsh, Mary Grennan and Mai Doran.

Betty mentioned as part of her talk that the website GIY was particularly useful – link here.
