U-14 hurling Féile this Sunday, April 5th  in Craanford at 10:30am vs Liam Mellows, Ballinastragh Gaels and Craanford.

Under-6 and 8 hurling is Tuesday 24th at 6:30pm in Ballyroebuck. Hurl and helmet required. Boys and girls of schoolgoing age welcome. Parent/guardian must be present if child is under 6.

Training will be at 6:30 pm on Tuesdays and 11:00 am on Saturdays. The under-12s played valiantly but lost in the ‘A’ final of the Castletown tournament to Naomh Eanna.

Training will be on this Sat morning 28th at 10:00am.

Under-10 hurlers play in Craanford on Thursday 19th from 6pm to 7pm.

The finals of the Castletown indoor tournament are on Sunday 22nd at 6pm.

The under-12 hurlers did very well last Friday evening in the Castletown tournament, winning all 3 games. The finals of this competition take place this coming Friday evening 20th in Castletown.

Well done to the under-14 footballers at the Feile blitz in Fenagh on Saturday last.

The under-14 hurlers are in Castletown next Saturday 21st.

U-12 hurling training will resume at 10:00​am on Saturday 7th March. Well done on their opening night performance in the Castletown tournament.

Under-10 hurling training will commence on Saturday February 21st @ 11:00am and then they will participate in the Castletown Indoor Hurling Tournament, which takes place over three Sundays, March 1st, 15th and 22nd @ 6:00pm.

Under-12 hurling indoor in Castletown on Friday February 20th (3 matches) please be there no later than 6:00pm.

The first game of the championship for the Minor Footballers will take place on Sunday March 1st against Macamore Gaels @ 11:00am in Ballyroebuck.

Registration night for Coiste na n-Óg takes place on Friday 13th February in the club house, from 7:00-8:30pm. We look forward to seeing all our players and parents on the night.

New players always welcome. If any new players are registering, please bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

U-14 hurlers are back in action again in the Castletown indoor tournament on Saturday 14th February, first game starts at 6:00pm.

U-12 hurlers are also out in Castletown on Friday night 20th February.

The AGM of Coiste na nOg took place on the 27th January . Thanks to outgoing committee members Sinead O’Hara, Jacqui Mulholland, and John Foley for all their hard work over the past number of years, who have stepped down from their positions.  This year’s committee is Maria O’Rourke Chairperson, Mary Sharry Secretary, Annamarie Kirwan PRO, John Byrne Child Protection Officer, and John Kirwan County Representative.  All mentors were thanked for their great work with our teams, and also parents for bringing the children to and from matches.  The Adult Committee were also thanked for their help throughout the year. We wish the present committee members and teams all the best for the coming year.

Registration night for Coiste na nOg will take place in mid-February.

Please be aware that this year registration MUST BE PAID before  children will be allowed to play, as they will not be insured.

Host families are required for the Feile Peil which takes place in Wexford, Wicklow and Carlow at the end of June. Hosts will be required to accommodate a minimum of 2 players from the visiting club. All members over 18 in the host family will require Garda Vetting. These forms are available from our Feile Co-Ordinator Joe Kenny. Please contact Joe on 087 904 8738 if interested.

Congratulations to all our teams who received their medals at the Presentation Night in Askamore Hall on 6th December. There was a great turnout, and a good night was had by all. A big thank you to Conor McDonald who presented the awards on the night, and took time to have photos taken with his many fans.

Thanks to Margaret Carton and her team  for their work preparing food,  the Hall Committee and the DJ on the night.

A special thank you to all the mentors of the teams who do a great job, and the parents for bringing the children to and from their matches and training.

Thanks and congratulations also go to the hardworking Coiste na nOg committee on another successful year. We look forward to the new season next year. The date of the Coiste na nOg AGM will be announced shortly, and we  look forward to a big turnout.

Coiste na nOg End of Season / Presentation Night will be held in Askamore Hall on Saturday 6th December at 7pm.

There will be a special guest there on the night to present the medals. We hope to see you all there.
