This is a stitched-together panorama of the view from the corkscrew bend on the looped walk. It was taken at about 6pm yesterday evening, beautifully clear.
You can see the windmills in the sea above Arklow on the extreme left, the windmills at Ballywalter near Kilmuckridge in the middle and all the way beyond Enniscorthy on the extreme right. The individual photographs that made up the panorama are here.
As part of Sports Active Wexford and Wexford County Council’s Walk on Wexford Spring series, there will be an organised walk in Askamore on Sunday 10th June at 1pm. There will be an orienteering demonstration and treasure hunt for all ages. Enjoy views of the surrounding countryside including views of the Wicklow mountains. Meet at 1pm in car park.
