Night Walk in Askamore this Friday, Feb 16th at 7 pm

Askamore, Co Wexford, Friday, 16 Feb, 6.45pm – 9pm

As part of north Wexford’s Freedom Fit Festival, Wexford Walking Trail has organised a night walk on Askamore’s short loop, the Askamore loop.

Beginning from the trailhead in the car park in the Askamore village, our 6km looped night walk will take you through scenery reminiscent of an Austrian valley, with trees sweeping below you, and wonderful views to the Wicklow Hills and beyond. However, given that this is a night walk, you will need to return another day to appreciate the views!!
Our walk will take place on Friday the 16th February at 7 pm.
Participants should bring a torch, high viz jacket, appropriate warm clothing and footwear. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Walkers under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. As part of our safety procedures, participants must submit a mobile phone contact number at registration.
Registration fee €5.
